Ultrasound Computer Controllers

Cephasonics provides a range of specially configured Linux-based computers for ultrasound system control and processing.  

Computer controllers are available as stand-alone systems or integrated with the Cephasonics Ontario application-ready carts.


The ultrasound controller can be equipped with an Intel-based i7 or i9 multi core processor, 1 or 2 Nvidia GPUs, 32GB RAM, and solid-state drive.

All controllers include assembly, installation of supported version of Ubuntu Linux operating system, complete CuSDK software environment, system configuration and testing with the Cephasonics ultrasound system.

Cephasonics ultrasound controllers are available in a Cephasonics Ontario cart-ready enclosure, desktop cabinet or rack. (Does not include monitor or keyboard unless configured in an Ontario cart).  Computer controllers also include a specially configured PCiE interface designed specifically for connecting to the Cephasonics ultrasound engines.

​All controller components are ready for EN 60601-1-2:2015 (4th Edition) EMC and safety certification. It can meet developer requirements for a variety of advanced ultrasound imaging and quantitative AI applications.
